2006-2007 REGISTRATION FOR RETURNING STUDENTS AND SIBLINGS

 

For students who were enrolled at St. Pius X Catholic School in August 2005 and are still relocated in a different school for this semester, please follow these instructions: 

1.      Make a check for Registration payable to St. Pius X School

·        $165 for oldest or only child in each family (includes Clarion Herald fee)

·        $150 for each additional student

·        Do not send cash

2.      To determine whether or not your family is a supporting parishioner, you may contact the school office at 504-282-2811 or the church rectory at 504-282-3332.   As noted in Mrs. Fulham’s tuition letter, the supporting parishioner fee has been reduced to $300 which was to have been paid in full by December 31, 2005.  If you are not a supporting parishioner, you must also include a non-support fee of $300 per child.

 

3.      Please mail your registration fee to the school office at 6600 Spanish Fort Boulevard, New Orleans, LA  70124 or come into the school office from 9AM – 3PM from Tuesday, February 7th through Friday, February 10th.

 

4.      It is very important to note that in order to insure a spot for your child for the 2006-2007 school year, we must receive your registration fee prior to February 10th.  New student registration will take place on Monday, February 20th through Tuesday, February 21st.  Spots will be given to new students if we do not receive a commitment from you.  If you cannot meet this deadline, please call the school office at 282-2811.

If you are REGISTERING A NEW STUDENT WHO IS A SIBLING, it is necessary that you complete a new student registration packet for this child.  You may come to the school office any day BETWEEN TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7TH THROUGH FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2006.  If you are unable to come to school, please call the school office at 504-282-2811 to make other arrangements.  Please remember to bring to registration (if possible) the child’s birth certificate, baptismal certificate, and provide the child’s social security number, updated immunization record, copy of transcript and report cards from all previous schools attended (only for grades 1st – 6th).  Supporting parents of siblings applying for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten are accepted first, before other applicants.  Siblings for other grade levels will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis only if space in the class is available.

 

YOU MUST COME IN TO REGISTER during the week of February 7-10 during the school day from 9:00am – 3:00pm in the school office.  IF YOU CANNOT COME TO THE OFFICE, PLEASE CALL IMMEDIATELY SO OTHER ARRANGEMENTS CAN BE MADE.  Please keep your registration packet together so that you will register your new student and your returning student(s) at the same time.

 

****IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT TUITION LOANS*******

Loan activators will be signed at the time of registration for those who currently have tuition loans with First Bank and Trust.  Please make arrangements with the school office to sign all activators.  New tuition loans will be handled in May when tuition is due.
